Our Foundation
Our Goal
Awareness
Vision therapy refers to non-surgical exercises that may correct a patient's visual responses. While research is ever-expanding, we are committed to increasing knowledge in cases of illness, disease, brain trauma and other conditions.
Education
Childhood vision challenges may lead to more issues. Research suggests vision challenges may indicate a brain/eye disconnect. This may cause symptoms of behavioral and social issues. Education is our frontline mission.
Fundraising
Your support allows us to sponsor developmental exams, diagnostic testing and treatment protocols. Support outreach programs are designed to help parents and teachers identify children at risk before they fall through the cracks.
Clinic Partners
Our mission is to provide resources and support services for eye care professionals offering vision therapy. In turn, they create life-changing environments for at-risk youth, and educate their communities on developmental exams and testing and diagnosing vision challenges with non-surgical therapeutic treatments.
Our Cause
“Vision therapy” describes non-surgical exercises that may enhance, change or correct a patient’s visual response. However, research and application in the field of vision are always evolving. Vision therapy now includes working with patients who are visually compromised due to illness, disease, brain trauma and other conditions. The Padula Institute in Connecticut implements vision therapy services for more severe visual challenges. Our own daughter is a patient there. See Learn Succeed will help children in our own community, as well as partner with other professionals who are producing vision therapy results for children around the country.
